Tammy put me at my ease and encouraged me to talk about any concerns. She thoroughly checked my stoma. I expressed my worries about my granuloma and she suggested a silver nitrate treatment to help with the granuloma. So, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you Tammy.

Profile
I have been a registered nurse since 2007 and a prescribing nurse since 2017. I joined the Connect service as a specialist prescribing stoma nurse in 2020. Since joining the team I have completed in house training in stoma care and completed a university module in advanced stoma care in 2021.
Prior to joining the team I worked as a practice nurse with a specialist interest in diabetes and also at Queens Medical Centre in the head and neck department.
